Belly of the Dragon

Belly of the Dragon is a unique hike in southern Utah near Kanab.

It was originally created as a drainage tunnel but is now a fun roadside attraction.

It involves a short, easy hike which is just under two miles out and back.

The hardest part is the 4-5 foot drop to get to the tunnel entrance.

Visit early in the morning or late in the evening to have the tunnel to yourself.

There is free camping just outside the tunnel entrance for both RV and tent campers.
