What is the RV Sticker Club?
The RV sticker club is a place for travelers in the RV community to come together and swap stickers.
It is simply a fun sticker exchange, and many RVers, both full-time and part-time, choose to participate.
You can find the main RV Sticker Club Instagram account here. This is a great way to connect with others who are trading stickers!
Who Can Join the RV Sticker Club?
Anyone can join! As long as you are a traveler and have stickers, you can join in the sticker-swapping fun!!
There are vans, 5th wheels, buses, travel trailers, and more in the club, so it doesn’t matter what your camper is; you are welcome.
You also don’t have to be full-time…part-time travelers are welcome too!
How Do You Get RV Stickers to Trade With?
First up, design your sticker!
A lot of people like to use their logo for their stickers, but really it can be anything you want it to be.
I have included a variety of pictures of other people’s stickers throughout this post so you can see some different examples.
You can either create your own design, or you can hire a graphics designer as I did.
If you’d like the contact information for the person I used, shoot me an email!
If you don’t have a brand name, you could also create a sticker with some fun RV quotes and use that to trade!
Now, you’re ready to purchase your stickers!
Now that you’ve got an amazing new design (if you didn’t have one already) it’s time to purchase your new stickers!
You can order your stickers from a variety of places, but we like to use the website Sticker Mule. We chose to order the 3” x 3” circle stickers.
I am unsure how other companies work, but the ordering process for us through Sticker Mule was great!
You simply upload your logo/image and then submit it. You will let them know if you want a circle or cut-out design, and they will email you a proof.
After you’ve approved the sticker cut/design, they will be printed and shipped to you!
You Finally Have Stickers…Yay! Now, How Do You Start Trading?
First of all, make sure you are following @rvstickerclub on Instagram. This is a great way to find other members and start trading.
This is the official account, and they regularly repost stickers from other accounts and new sticker members.
How do you contact someone to trade stickers with them?
The most common way to initiate a sticker trade is to send the person a DM on Instagram and ask them to trade with you.
You will swap addresses and send each other stickers within a day or two (if possible).
If you’re joining as a new member, you should make a post to let people know you have stickers and are ready to trade.
Be sure to tag @rvstickerclub so that they can repost your picture and let others know!
Here is the post we initially made when we first got our stickers:
How to keep track of your RV sticker trades
You’ll want to keep track of your sticker trades so that you don’t forget who you’ve traded with.
This also helps you ensure you don’t forget to send stickers out from promised trades.
Personally, I like to keep track of my sticker trades with the free printable above, but you can really do so however/wherever you’d like.
After I have mailed the sticker, I put a checkmark next to their name. This makes it easy for me to see what stickers I still need to mail.
Mailing your stickers
You’re going to need stamps and envelopes. Stationary is optional although I prefer to use it as long as I have some on hand.
Note – You may want to have a few international forever stamps on hand as well for trading stickers from other countries.
At the time of this post, international forever stamps cost $1.45, which costs over double the $0.63 USA forever stamps.
I like to write a short note thanking the other person for the trade and wishing them well on their travels.
I generally try to get the stickers out in a timely fashion, but there have been times when I ran out of stamps and it took me a few days.
What Do You Do With Your RV Sticker Club Trades?
When I receive new stickers in the mail, I like to post a picture on my Instagram story to shout out and thank the person for the trade.
I also created an Instagram story highlight where I save all the stickers so that it’s easier for people to flip through and find new accounts to trade with.
But what do you do with the stickers after that? This is probably the most commonly asked question we get!
The answer is you can really use them however you’d like to.
We have seen some people put them on their RV, either on the inside of their door, on the inside of their slides, or even on the front and back.
Other people have put them in a notebook or even made a sticker board.
We chose to use ours to cover our Yeti camping cooler. We decided we wanted to display them, but we didn’t want them to be put on our RV in case we ever traded and would lose them.
I really love how the Yeti turned out! If you have a similar cooler, I highly suggest doing the same. 🙂
And that’s pretty much it!
The RV Sticker Club community is SO fun! If you’ve been watching for a while and are on the fence about joining, jump right in!
Now that you’ve learned everything you need to know about the RV Sticker Club, we hope you’ll join in on the fun.
So far, we have done over 100 trades in countless states and 4 to 5 countries. It’s so much fun to see the different designs that everyone comes up with!
I hope you have enjoyed this post and have found it beneficial. If we haven’t traded stickers already, then I’d love to trade with you!
